TRINITY Project

 

At Baltled, we strive to move forward and constantly analyze our production and development processes to improve them. Having seen that the packaging process in production is not being carried out effectively, we decided to look for automation solutions to improve the situation.  In this way, we discovered the TRINITY project, which aims to improve production efficiency through robotization, digital and cybersecurity technologies. TRINITY also aims to promote flexibility in production and the sustainable development of future European production ecosystems.  Thus, having found two partners capable of implementing our vision of automation, we immediately submitted an application to TRINITY competition for partial funding.

With the recent end of the TRINITY competition, we are pleased to announce that we have become one of the winners and will be able to carry out production processes with RoboCUT more efficiently. RoboCUT is a robot that produces cardboard packaging and parts for them. Its technical characteristics allow to quickly produce packages of different dimensions, which are prepared for immediate use. RoboCUT will be designed by one of our partners, Industrial Robotics Company UAB, and programmed with the help of our other partner –  Stogger BV. MeanwhileBaltled, will provide an opportunity to test this equipment in a real production process.

We hope that this robot will help us to become more flexible, able to adapt to non-standard orders quickly, without wasting our costs on third parties. It will also contribute to more efficient and sustainable production processes by reducing storage facilities and human resources.

It is a pleasure to be part of the TRINITY project and we hope that RoboCUT will be implemented smoothly and we will be able to apply this technology in our production process soon.

A total of 199,500 EUR was received. The estimated project duration is from 6 to 10 months.
