Development of export markets of UAB “Baltled” by participating in exhibitions
The company’s own products are LED modules, which are used for lighting advertising signs both indoors and outdoors, as well as industrial and commercial lighting products – luminaires. This production is exported to Great Britain, Estonia, Latvia, France, Denmark, Poland and other countries. In 2022, revenue increased by about 15% compared to the previous year. About 1/2 of the income consists of export earnings, that is, they largely determine the overall indicators of the enterprise. In order to increase profitability and competitiveness, the company plans to implement the project, the essence of which is participation in international exhibitions in the target export markets, where it will open up an opportunity to grow the awareness of the company and its products, expand the circle of foreign buyers and increase export volumes. The company carries out an effective program for adapting and submitting new products to the target export markets, taking into account the needs of export partners, thus ensuring the continuity of cooperation in advance. Participation in specialized international exhibitions allows us to present the company and its products more widely, to establish new business contacts, as a result of which the prerequisites are created for increasing production volumes, expanding the range of products, focusing on the relevant needs of the market, increasing the competitiveness of the company. Participation in international specialized exhibitions allows you to get acquainted with the needs of various markets, diversify export markets. The project’s activities are directed to the promotion of exports of the products of Baltled APV UAB, the search for new export markets and the development of already existing markets, and the increase of the company’s competitiveness. Investments are planned to be allocated to the presentation of SME APV products at international exhibitions abroad.

Increasing the international exposure of UAB “Baltled” by exporting certified products
Baltled UAB specializes in the research of electronic components and lighting technologies / optics, development and production of outsourced equipment, prototypes. The company’s activities include research of LED-based products and technologies, organization of production processes, commercialization of manufactured products and technologies. With the presence of market leaders in Lithuania and the export of products to various countries of the world, the need to expand to other foreign markets is increasing. For this, certificates of manufactured products are required, so the company always has a growing need to certify its products before exporting them. During the implementation of the project activities, it is planned to receive a series of new certificates for the line of industrial luminaires. With these certificates, it is planned that the company’s sales in foreign countries will increase significantly, as the company will be increasingly recognized as a reliable partner. After the implementation of the project, the company’s awareness will undoubtedly grow internationally, and at the same time the volume of exports will increase as well.

European Union project “Apprenticeship Training in the Workplace”
UAB “Baltled” participates as a partner in the project “Training of employees of small and medium-sized enterprises in the form of apprenticeships for qualification improvement in the workplace” no. 09.4.3-ESFA-K-827-04-0053, co-financed by the European Union Structural Funds 2014-2020. The project is implemented under the 2014-2020 Investment of European Union Funds priority 9 of the operational program “Public education and increasing the potential of human resources” measure “Apprenticeships and upskilling in the workplace”.
Objective of the project: To ensure continuous maintenance of the level of qualification of employees of engineering industries.
Project duration: 24 months (2020 December – 2022 December)
The project is carried out by UAB “Stigma” together with partners – 13 small and medium-sized engineering industry companies. The project includes UAB “Arginta Engineering”, UAB “3D Creative”, UAB “BALTLED”, UAB “Baltic Cranes Logistics”, UAB BALTIC CRANES ENGINEERING, UAB Entech Group, UAB “Jutrix”,UAB”KEMEK ENGINEERING”, UAB “POLITECA”, UAB “ŠVYTĖJIMAS”, UAB “TECHRANGA”, UAB “Vilpros pramonė”, UAB “Technogaja”. During the project, 261 employees of these companies will improve their qualifications in the workplace.
The project will enable company employees to improve their qualifications and skills to adapt their know-how in such a way that they can perform their official functions in a technologically high-quality, fair manner and that the performance meets the deadlines set.

UAB “Baltled” production capacity increase
UAB “Baltled” 2019 started to implement the project “UAB “Baltled” production capacity increase”, during which modern production equipment will be purchased and installed in the company’s activities. Successful implementation of the project will allow not only to expand production volumes, but also to introduce innovative lighting solutions to the market and optimize the company’s production processes. It is planned that due to these factors, the productivity of UAB “Baltled” will increase significantly.

UAB “Baltled” implements project of digitization of production processes
UAB “Baltled” is currently implementing a project for digitization of production processes, during which equipment with integrated digital technologies will be purchased in accordance with the recommendations of the technological audit carried out.
Successful implementation of the project will allow the company to solve important problems (currently, a large part of the intermediate production processes are carried out manually, long production time of the product, complex tracking of residues and quantities of products, etc.), due to which UAB “Baltled” is not able to fulfill all possible orders.
Digitization of production processes by installing modern equipment will allow the company to carry out the production process more efficiently and increase the production and sales volume, which will allow to significantly grow the competitiveness and productivity of UAB “Baltled”.

European Union project “Innovative Led Lighting for Foreign Markets”
Since 2005, successfully operating UAB “BALTLED” was the first in Lithuania to replace neon light solutions with LED light emitting diodes.
The company offers general lighting solution to the market as production expanded – a high efficiency Backlit panel for offices, hotels, etc., produces LED lights, produces IP 65 series for industrial lighting, as well as offers non-standard LED lighting solutions to customers in exceptional cases.
A couple of years ago, UAB “BALTLED” introduced management system options to the market in its proposed lighting solutions. In the presence of market leaders in Lithuania, when exporting products to the Czech Republic, the need to expand into other foreign markets is increasing, often requiring certificates, therefore, the need to certify their products before exporting them has increased.
During the implementation of the project activities, it is planned to obtain an ENEC certificate for the Fulmar industrial luminaire line. With this certificate, it is planned that the company’s sales abroad will increase significantly, as the company will be increasingly recognized as a reliable partner to carry out sales, and the company’s international awareness will grow.
The value of the project is 27 400 EUR , half of which is financed by the European Regional Development Fund, the rest of which will be contributed by the company’s own funds.
